LOT OF 4: TIPP & CO. GERMAN TINPLATE HALF TRACK W/ 8 SOLDIERS, SEARCHLIGHT AND CANNONS C. 1936-1940s. Tipp & Co. (Tippco) German Military Tinplate Vehicle and Artillery Group. German lithographed tinplate military toy grouping including a Tippco WL 217 half-track personnel carrier finished in green, ochre and black camouflage and fitted with metal chain-type tracks, front wheels and seated painted composition soldiers in blue-gray uniforms. Side of half-track bears printed German weight/capacity specifications and rear license marking “WL 217.” Accompanied by several coordinating military accessories including motorcycles, wheeled artillery/field guns and related pieces, primarily finished in camouflage or field-green paint. The half-track retains eight seated composition figures. Overall good played-with condition with scattered paint loss, rubbing, scratches, oxidation and age-related wear throughout. Composition figures exhibit scattered paint loss and minor surface wear. Metal tracks and running gear show oxidation and use wear.
