Lot 9 postcards Fonoscope Sanremo 1958 - Postcard (9) - 1958-1958

Lotto consisting of 9 original Fonoscope sound postcards dating from 1958, dedicated to the Festival of Italian Song of Sanremo. An interesting and uncommon collection of memorabilia of 1950s Italian music, combining illustrated postcards in the characteristic Fonoscope production, presented at the time as “The singing postcard.” The lot includes the following subjects: - What is a kiss – Rovi / Boneschi - Fantastica – Costanzo / Gori / Bentivoglio - I swear to love you this much – Panzeri / Mascheroni - I drew a heart – Simoni / Piga - In the blue painted blue – Modugno / Migliacci - If only you returned – Radaelli / Barberis - Secret Love – Testoni / Calibi / Fain - Timid serenade – Nisa / Redi - You are from my country – Biri / De Giusti / Testa / C.A. Rossi The postcards feature the original characteristics of the Fonoscope series, with vibrant color illustrations, central hole, and back prepared for mailing. There are also indications of Festival della Canzone Italiana di Sanremo 1958, the BIEM mark, the original price of L. 200, and the production editorial information. Particularly interesting is the inclusion of “Nel blu dipinto di blu,” one of Italy’s most famous songs of all time, written by Domenico Modugno and Franco Migliacci and presented at the 1958 Sanremo Festival. The items are authentic vintage originals and show the usual signs of preservation, wear, and odor compatible with their age: yellowing of the paper, stains, abrasions, slight creases and edge imperfections. One postcard also shows small tears/missing pieces on the back. The conditions are clearly documented in the photographs, which must be considered an integral part of the description. A particularly interesting lot for collectors of Sanremo Festival, Italian music, vintage postcards, Fonoscope, vintage music media, and 1950s memorabilia.
