Lot 2 - A Chinese blue and white 'deer and cranes' jar

Of ovoid form with rounded shoulders, decorated in underglaze blue with deer and cranes amongst pine trees and rocky landscapes, symbolising longevity and the auspicious theme of lu he tong chun (鹿鶴同春). The shoulder encircled by a key-fret border, with a domed cover. Height 20cm.
