LO Art Studio - Lithos, Armonis

Artwork by LO Art Studio titled Lithos, Harmony number 6 of the series, 55x25x12 cm, complete with pedestal, Mixed media, mineral-based plaster and varnish, edition 2026. Lithos is a sculpture with an archetypal form that evokes primordial tools. The gilded surface presents geological textures that dialogue between ancestral memory and contemporaneity. A processual research work. Deepening Concave shape with magnetic presence, achieved through processes of controlled material subtraction. I developed surfaces with a complex epidermis, where natural erosions create tactile topographies that dialogue with research on Arte Povera and New Materialism. The precious gilding transforms the raw matter into an aura presence, lending sacrality to the artifact through refined chromatic stratifications. The geological textures emerge from innovative techniques that introduce random elements into the design control. Painted wooden support that enhances the sculptural component. A work with a strong spatial presence that contaminates contemporary languages and transfigured industrial materiality.
