Number 21 of a limited edition of 2000. The polychrome glazed sculpture depicts Santa Claus carrying a child on his shoulder, standing beside a large sack of toys. The piece features a textured deep red finish on the suit with snowy white ruffles and high-gloss glazes throughout. The underside bears a blue printed mark consisting of a bell shape above three vertical lines, reading LLADRO, HAND MADE IN SPAIN, and DAISA. The base also features handwritten and incised marks including SCUL. J. Santaeulalia, DECOR. Maribel Arais, and the limited edition number 21/2000. Additionally, the base shows incised numbers 1960.
