Authentic Mosasaurus Tooth with Expertly Restored Tip – Late Cretaceous An impressive authentic Mosasaurus tooth from the Late Cretaceous, distinguished by its robust proportions, elegant curved profile, and exceptionally well-executed restoration of the tip. The specimen preserves a substantial elongated crown with a rich chocolate-brown coloration, gradually transitioning into warmer caramel and golden tones toward the base. Particularly noteworthy is the masterful restoration of the tooth's tip. The intervention has been carefully executed to follow the original curvature, surface texture, and coloration of the crown, achieving a remarkably harmonious appearance. A fine restoration line remains visible upon close inspection, allowing the restored section to be distinguished from the original fossil material. The lower portion retains its substantial fossilized base, displaying contrasting sandy beige and ochre tones with a naturally textured surface. This striking contrast between the darker crown and lighter base enhances the specimen's anatomical character.
