Very elegant French porcelain dinner service signed S.E.P. France – Sélection, featuring a magnificent polychrome floral decoration in the "Tree of Indes" style. The design comprises a flowering tree and exotic branches at the center of the pieces, in delicate shades of pink, blue, green and yellow, surrounded by a pretty polychrome floral border around the rim. The gilded, festooned rims add a lot of refinement to the whole. Some pieces also feature beautiful gold details, notably on the handles. Composition of the service: 12 flat plates diameter 24 cm 12 soup plates diameter 23 cm 12 dessert plates diameter 19.5 cm 1 tureen with lid diameter 24.5 cm, height 17 cm, width between handles 32 cm 1 salad bowl diameter 28.5 cm, height 8.3 cm 1 platter with handles diameter about 28 cm 1 oval dish dimensions 36 x 26 cm 1 serving tray dimensions 24 x 16 cm. The service is in very good overall condition considering its age; only 3 dessert plates show a very small, barely visible micro-fault.
