Liana - Später Herbst XXL

Liana Nakashidze Birches (Late Autumn) Oil on Canvas The work “Birches (Late Autumn)” is a significant example from Liana Nakashidze's ongoing nature series, inspired by the poetic and philosophical worldview of the Georgian poet Vaja-Pshavela. The birches assert their presence with quiet dignity, while in the foreground a low shrubbery in intense red tones of Viburnum creates a subtle painterly dialogue between calm and inner tension. The fragmentary composition intentionally leaves space open and invites the viewer to a quiet, contemplative engagement with nature. As Vaja-Pshavela writes: “Nature is the mirror of the human soul.” This work can be read as a painterly echo of this thought. Due to its format, the painting will be shipped unframed, removed from the stretcher, and rolled on a sturdy cardboard core. This practically proven shipping method offers increased protection for the work and at the same time provides a cost-efficient solution for international transport.
