Up for auction: a prestigious, iconic, and splendid vintage single-lens reflex camera: the Leicaflex Standard, produced in West Germany by the legendary E. Leitz Wetzlar in 1966. The lot is in good overall condition and is complete with the very bright original Summicron-R 50mm lens and its carrying strap. Optics: The camera is fitted with the original Leitz Summicron-R 1:2 / 50 mm standard lens. The lenses are in excellent conservational condition, clean and completely free of scratches or traces of mold and internal fungi. Mechanical: The lot has been tested and is functioning. The mechanical shutter on the focal plane responds to the controls and fires regularly at the various adjustable speeds. The top lever for manual shutter cocking and film advance operates smoothly. Aesthetics: Good overall condition, as documented by the photographs. The solid metal housing preserves a beautiful vintage aesthetic with the classic and elegant two-tone chrome and black finish, showing only the normal light surface signs of wear on the top and back.
