An old vase for roses made of laminated glass, created with the cameo engraving technique. It was produced in France during the Art Nouveau period (late 19th – early 20th century) at the François-Théodore Legras factory. Details of the item: • Style and period: Art Nouveau (circa 1900–1914). • Workshop: Legras & Cie (Saint-Denis, France). • Series: Probably the famous 'Rubis' series, characterized by a pale matte background with a ruby-violet (plum) floral relief. • Decoration: Engraved design and etching representing leaves and berries (or fruit). • Signature: The maker's mark, in the form of the relief inscription 'Legras', is engraved on the side of the piece. There is a small chip at the top (see photo).
