Legnano - Bicycle - Before 2000

Legnano Graziella Vintage 20-Inch – Green Apple Epoca Folding Bicycle GENERAL DESCRIPTION Up for auction is an authentic, iconic, and fascinating vintage Graziella-style folding bicycle from Legnano, a famous historic brand in Italian cycling. The steel folding frame features a central joint with quick-release locking, designed to reduce bulk and facilitate transport. The bike preserves its original vivid apple-green paint, enriched by the original Legnano graphics on the top tube and chain guard, as well as the classic crest on the head tube. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND VISIBLE COMPONENTS The bicycle, mounted on 20-inch wheels, comes with a rich assortment of preserved vintage accessories. The setup includes an vintage lighting system with a gem-shaped front light paired with a dynamo on the front wheel, a classic handlebar bell, color-matched integrated fenders, and a rear metal rack with supporting arms. The tall, curved handlebars keep the sculpted vintage grips and traditional brake levers. Completing the package are the original light-colored padded saddle, the circular color-matched chain guard, the vintage-style foldable pedals, and the center stand. CONDITION AND RECOMMENDED WORK Being a preserved example that has sat idle in a garage or attic for a long time, the bicycle remains in fully original condition with a strong and charming patina of time. The folding frame is solid and intact. As a vintage vehicle left resting, before taking it on the road a routine general service is advised, including cleaning, lubrication of the cinematics, adjusting the brakes, and replacement or inspection of tires and inner tubes. Visually, there are typical signs of rusting on metal and chromed parts and wear marks on the paint, which attest to its authenticity and age. SHIPPING AND PACKING NOTES The lot will be packed with utmost care and shipped via a tracked and insured courier service. Please note that, to ensure safer shipping and reduce package volume, some parts of the bicycle may be disassembled, such as pedals, saddle, rims, and the handlebar may be turned.
