Le Yack - Archipel, fin d'après-midi - Hand-signed

A concrete and wood house opening onto a Nordic archipelago. A large mustard-colored sofa, a coffee table, a closed book. Seated with her back to us, a woman in a wool sweater gazes at the gray sea rolling between the rocks. Nothing happens, and that is precisely what feels good. Light streams in in long oblique bands across the varnished floor, the sky unrolls across the full width of the panoramic window. We enter this tableau as one sits down beside someone, without saying a word. An artwork of silence and space, conceived to soothe an entire room.
