Late Roman - early Byzantine silver alloy / billon crown ring. The bezel is formed as a raised cluster composed of numerous hemispherical bosses (filigree) arranged around a central knob, forming a three-dimensional rosette-like composition that resembles a small crown or diadem. Outside diameter: ± 25,3 mm Inside diameter: ± 22,8 - 20,1 mm Bezel: ± 17,8 mm Condition: good solid condition. The crown-like cluster of bosses remains well preserved and clearly visible. Attractive dark patina and signs of wear consistent with age and use.
