Late Deco 1.00ct Sapphire and Diamond Earrings, c.1940s

Dating to the Late Deco period, these wonderful earrings centre around a pair of oval cut sapphires. Rub over set in 18 carat gold, each sapphire weighs 0.50 carat and is surrounded by 0.30 carat total of round brilliant diamonds. The diamonds all match in quality, with colour of G and clarity of VS. Each diamond has been set in platinum, whilst the rear of each earring and the latch backs are crafted in 18 carat yellow gold for a beautiful mixed metal look.
