Toutes les enchères / Ethnographie / LARGE CRYSTALS
From our selection of collectible minerals, we propose a notable group of Calcite crystals from Tiglieto, Genoa, Liguria. Moreover, it is characterized by large white and translucent Calcite crystals, with a well-developed rhombohedral habit on a microcrystalline matrix, as well as fluorescence and phosphorescence reported by the seller, which enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical significance. The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with features that highlight its natural structure and visual impact. Calcite is the most widespread calcium carbonate in nature and crystallizes in the trigonal system, often in rhombohedral or scalenohedral habits with a wide morphological variety. Fluorescence and phosphorescence in this mineral are generally linked to trace amounts of manganese or other activator elements within the crystal lattice, which absorb ultraviolet radiation and re-emit it as visible light, in some cases also for a short period after the UV source is turned off. Liguria, while not among the Italian regions best known for collectible mineralogy, offers geodes and cavities in some areas lined with Calcite crystals of good aesthetic quality. This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, also in the realm of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species. All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, except for very rare exceptions always indicated in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best showcase colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient light. Shipping is carried out via reliable, selected express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 business days within Europe), tracked and insured shipping and professional, safe packing, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries can also take place the day after payment depending on the destination.
