Large Antique Mohair Bear

Large antique golden mohair bear with amber eyes, hand-stitched black nose and mouth, and retaining a white leather studded collar with heart-shaped tag that was added at a later date. Measures approx. 22 x 15 inches. Displays significant age-related wear throughout, including scattered mohair loss with exposed backing, heavy wear and losses to both ears, thinning to the mohair, and general wear from age and handling. Worn paw pads have holes exposing small metal rods, possibly remnants of wheels that may once have been attached. The collar is a later addition. Despite the condition issues, the bear retains a wonderful antique appearance and displays well. Estimate $100 - $300
