Lapis lazuli - Saint Benedict Medal Necklace – Holy Cross...

Saint Benedict Medal Necklace – Holy Cross – Sacred Protection Rampart. A lapis-lazuli necklace bearing the great Saint Benedict medal stamped with the cross and the motto PAX, a formidable shield of the Church forged to repel dark forces and establish an inviolable peace. In the 6th century, withdrawn in the solitude of Subiaco and later on the heights of Monte Cassino, Saint Benedict of Nursia founded Western monastic life and raised a spiritual rampart against the forces of disorder. Guided by sovereign faith, the holy patriarch opposed the sign of the cross to all obstacles and thwarted the invisible traps of adversity. Direct heiress of this spiritual authority, the Saint Benedict medal has become one of Christianity’s most revered protection shields. At the center shines the holy cross, surrounded by Latin exorcism and blessing formulas spoken for centuries to drive back darkness, dissolve malicious intentions, and disarm evil in all its forms. Crowned by the motto PAX, this medal establishes a protective sanctuary around the wearer. It provides the assurance of vigilant spiritual guardianship to traverse life’s trials with steadfast soul and the victorious strength of faith. History & Secrets of the Symbol: The Cross and the Saint Benedict Medal: The Shield of the West Solemnly recognized by Pope Benedict XIV in the 18th century, this medal draws its authority from the spiritual victories of the holy patriarch of Western monks. An instrument of blessing and deliverance, it endures through the ages as the traditional rampart invoked to ward off perils, neutralize malice, and repel assaults of adversity. The Sacred Exorcism Formulas: Vade Retro Each letter engraved on the cross and around its rim contains a major protective invocation. Between the arms of the cross appear the initials C S P B (Crux Sancti Patris Benedicti: Cross of the Holy Father Benedict), while the crossbar seals the pledge C S S M L - N D S M D (May the Holy Cross be my light, may the dragon not be my guide). The rim proclaims the famous banishment of shadows: Vade Retro Satana (Far, Satan, do not counsel me in thy vanities). The PAX Motto: The Seal of Spiritual Victory Above the cross, the word PAX recalls the Benedictine tradition’s primary mission: to restore harmony where there was disorder. In Christian mysticism, this peace is an active force capable of calming inner storms and disarming external hostility. The Lapis-Lazuli: Celestial adornment and the Nobility of the Soul With a royal blue hue sprinkled with golden inclusions, lapis-lazuli is traditionally associated with the celestial vault and spiritual dignity. Renowned for soothing turbulent thoughts and supporting lucidity, this stone lends a noble presence that enhances the solemnity of the Saint Benedict medal.
