O shipments outside Europe SPACE AGE LAMP, attributed to La Murrina code 022 Icon of the Italian Space Age, Splendid and rare Italian design table lamp dating to the early 1970s, a perfect manifesto of the Space Age aesthetics that revolutionized 20th-century lighting design. This lamp is not a simple light source, but a true sculpture of light, characterized by a large disc diffuser that evokes the image of a planet or a psychedelic eclipse in full retro-futurist style. The main body is a marvel of Murano craftsmanship, attributed to the historic La Murrina manufacturing company or to the famous contemporaneous productions linked to master Lino Tagliapietra. The disc is made of precious glass cloisonné and finely satin-finished with acid. The work displays a hypnotic effect of concentric circles fading, with a central green/turquoise core wrapped by a warm peach-colored corona, which gradually dissolves into the milky white perimeter. Once lit, the lamp diffuses a soft, atmospheric, and extremely scenographic light. The electrical system is fully functional. A piece of the highest quality and strong visual impact, ready to embellish mid-century modern, minimalist interiors or avant-garde design collections. SHIPPING WITH TRACKING AND INSURANCE.
