Kobalt - Louboutin - Wonder Woman (Galaxy Advertising series)

About the series "Galaxy Advertising" In Galaxy Advertising, Kobalt invents a language that no one speaks, not even him. An improbable mix of gravity-free Cyrillic and Martian calligraphy vaguely Asian, this writing is supposed to be the most spoken in the neighboring galaxies… No need to try to translate it: it says nothing, but it says it beautifully. A cosmic wink to a communication coming from very, very far... or just from another imagined world. Biography : Kobalt, born in Paris in 1970, embodies the journey of a polymorphous artist whose creativity has unfolded from electronic music to contemporary graphic art. Coming from a family where art was already present thanks to his father, a draftsman, Kobalt discovers very young his first passion, musical creation. This passion guides him in his youth, and his early talents lead him to take a bold decision: to invest the money intended to fund his higher education in the creation of his first album. Distributed by EMI, the album does not meet the expected success, but it marks the beginning of a richly experimental artistic career. Alongside his musical career, Kobalt enters the world of advertising as a copywriter for the iconic magazine Playboy. For many years, he puts his creativity at the service of the publication by creating and producing the magazine's advertising campaigns. The turning point of his career occurs in 2005 when he becomes a cameraman, thus exploring a new facet of the visual world. In 2007, he discovers a passion for photography, adding another artistic string to his bow. In 2010, he successfully founds his own photo agency, highlighting his entrepreneurial spirit. In 2017, Kobalt makes a radical choice to sell his agency to fully embrace graphic art, influenced by his son, who has become a major figure in global street art. A pioneer of computer-assisted art creation, Kobalt stands out with more than 3000 works sold in galleries and online to date. His artistic approach is marked by the bold use of humor, provocation and anachronisms, with a particular penchant for repurposing magazine covers, a style that makes him instantly recognizable. Despite the digital era, Kobalt has chosen to stay on the margins of social networks, thus preserving a certain privacy. Today, he uses all available digital tools to give life to his creations, continuing to push the boundaries of artistic expression with a subtle mix of inspiration, innovation and humor.
