Title: Still Life with Red Table and LemonsArtist: Kirsty Wain Medium: Acrylic on canvas, ready to hang Dimensions: 30 x 40 x 1 cm A striking, highly expressive original acrylic painting titled Still Life with Red Table and Lemons by contemporary artist Kirsty Wain. Drawing clear inspiration from the bold, saturated aesthetics of Fauvism and the warm charm of Mediterranean interiors, this artwork features a vivid red round table offset by soft lavender and deep magenta backdrop tones. At the center, three bright yellow lemons rest upon a patterned teal-accented tray beside a beautifully decorated ceramic pitcher adorned with lush leaf and olive motifs. The lower section displays a dynamic crosshatch pattern in bright turquoise, grounding the composition with energetic movement. Wain’s confident brushwork, rich color contrasts, and playful interior scene make this piece a vibrant addition to any modern art collection. Frame not included About the Artist Kirsty Wain is a British painter currently living and working in Spain. Deeply connected to the Mediterranean landscape, her work offers an expressive, emotive interpretation of the surrounding environment. Drawing strong inspiration from Post-Impressionism and the bold colour theory of Fauvism, Wain uses vibrant hues, textured application, and fluid line work to capture the intrinsic energy, spirit, and light of a location. Her paintings, frequently focused on ancient olive groves, hillside pines, and sweeping terrains—seek to translate fleeting personal moments and deep emotional ties to place directly onto the canvas. Wain’s distinct visual language continues to gain international visibility, and her paintings are held in private collections around the world. ´ I love colour. I love nature. I love art. Together, they are my language. ´ K Wain 2025 Artist Profile & Education Background: British contemporary landscape painter based in Spain, combining her artistic practice with a long-standing career in art education.
