Toutes les enchères / Art Contemporain / KIRAS - POP REWIND — POWER UP! - FUCSIA
POP REWIND — POWER UP! is part of KIRAS's new series dedicated to myths and the pop imagery of the 1980s and 1990s, reinterpreted through a contemporary, three-dimensional language. The artwork presents an iconic figure from the world of video games as they reach a large coin with a star, transforming a familiar image of pop culture into a dynamic and playful composition. The layering of multiple levels creates a pronounced three-dimensional effect, while the fluorescent FUCHSIA plexiglass frame and the mirrored background amplify colors, depth and reflections. The title POWER UP! evokes the moment in a video game when you gain an upgrade, a reward, or a new energy. A small fragment of memory from the 1980s/1990s transformed by KIRAS into a contemporary wall piece. Made in Italy, the work combines 3D printing, artisanal craftsmanship, graphic elements and fluorescent plexiglass, with particular attention to depth and visual effect. A piece designed for collectors of contemporary Pop Art, collectible design and vintage pop culture, but also for those who want to bring the colorful and ironic energy of the arcade era into their home.
