Kazakh: Lori Pampak - Carpet - 215 cm - 160 cm

Rare and beautiful Lori-Pampak kazak from Armenia. Around 1910-1920. On those large octagons in the field we see a peculiar and iconic figure - it looks like ET. Nobody I know knows the meaning. This is the symbol of the Lori Pampak region, it is a city and a region that are named so. Notably beautiful, warm and natural vegetal colors - beautiful brick-red field. Nice edges, the edge at the bottom has wear, corresponding to age and use. This is very beautiful to hang on the wall - this is also very common for traditional Armenian people and connoisseurs.
