Kawasaki - Z 1300 - 6 cylinder - 1300 cc - 1981

Extremely original Z 1300 from 1981. It has all the ‘old’ forms and details such as the ‘clean-air system’ on the valve cover (which later would be dropped), but already with the improved oil management, featuring the large oil pan and the nozzles in the crankcase. The motor has been in storage for decades; so long that there isn’t even a ‘GAIK license plate’ mounted yet (the papers are in order). Therefore the original exhausts are still mounted and in good condition. With the Marzocchi shock absorbers it rides better than with the original. Meanwhile the engine, after thorough major maintenance, has been started and has attended a Kawasaki meeting. The motorcycle is gradually coming back to its former self. It sounds great! The right-hand steering switch has lost its internals and therefore an alternative on/off switch has been installed. The original long rear fender is still there and is in very good condition. The whole machine is, as the English would say, ‘very collectible’. Technically and visually a top-class machine indeed. Sold without battery. Pickup from the seller; export assistance possible.
