Biography: Jürgen Angeler studied Communication and Media Design, which laid the foundation for his artistic path. He began painting in 2014 and participated in his first exhibitions. In 2015 followed his first solo show. Since then he has continually developed his technique. Several exhibitions and workshops have followed to date. Jürgen Angeler pays particular attention to Informal Painting, a form of modern art that emerged in the 1940s/1950s. The blend of spontaneity (impulse) and chance (drip painting, squeegee techniques) plays a decisive role. At the end of the creative process is a finished painting that expresses the tension built up during its creation. Jürgen Angeler reflects on successful exhibitions in Germany, Italy, and Austria. His paintings are in collections in several European countries, the USA, Hong Kong, and Japan. Selected exhibitions: - Participated with two paintings in "cosmo GRAFIE" in Rome, Italy. Curated by Eva Czerkl - Participated in the Elledorado Art Charity at the Schwules Museum, Berlin (Patron: Claudia Roth, Vice President of the Bundestag) - Solo exhibition "Made in Germany" at Kulturei Mainz (Zitadelle), Germany
