Jurassic Jewellery Sterling Silver Pendant with...

Section with dendritic sutures — A jewel born from the heart of the Earth and the memory of the sea. This refined 925 silver pendant houses a fossil specimen of Cleoniceras from Madagascar, characterized by an extraordinary iridescent surface that shows opalescent reflections in shades of red, orange and coppery gold. This is a natural fossilization phenomenon known as ammolite, in which the aragonitic structure of the ammonite shell, over millions of years, has transformed into an opalescent mineral capable of refracting light into unique chromatic play. Each specimen is irreproducible, with a color pattern that changes depending on the angle and light intensity, recalling the depth of fire and the fluidity of water. The polished silver frames the fossil spiral with sober, contemporary lines, allowing the natural beauty of the gem to remain the absolute protagonist. This pendant unites geology, time, and the art of jewelry-making in a single object, transforming an ancient form of marine life into a symbol of transformation and eternal light. Each ammonite tells the story of a lost ocean and the slow miracle of stone becoming gem.
