Toutes les enchères / Jouets & Collections / Jumeau - Doll Gemerkt met 8. Blauw paperweight 57 cm - 1850-1900 - France
A particularly beautiful and characterful French Jumeau doll, stamped with the number 8. A charming specimen with a very nice appearance and various distinctive details that make it especially attractive to collectors. The doll has gorgeous blue paperweight eyes and the characteristic, nicely set eyebrows that give the face an expressive and refined look. The head features the distinctive cork cap. The original French doll body is in, given its age, particularly beautiful condition and forms a lovely complement to the head and the overall presentation of the doll. The clothing also contributes to the elegant character of this specimen. The doll wears a fine white lace underskirt, paired with a beautiful orange dress. The outfit is completed by earrings and brown shoes, giving the whole a atmospheric and authentic look. Condition: The head is in very beautiful condition and is completely free of hairline cracks. This is clearly visible in the latest photos. On the left cheek at the rear there is a very small speck of about 1 mm. This is extremely minor and practically not visible from the front. A atmospheric and attractive Jumeau doll with a beautiful face, lovely original details and a very representative appearance. A special specimen for the lover and collector of French antique dolls.
