Jovan Srijemac (1962) - Hunting the wind - XXL

Unique large abstract painting with overall canvas size (with extra white borders) 105 x 130 x 01 cm. Work painted in 2026. The painting is shipped rolled, without a stretcher frame. Once mounted on the frame, the canvas size (image) is 95 x 120 x 2 cm. In this work I let loose my deepest emotions, causing bold colors and strong brushstrokes to cross each other in a dynamic dance. Out of the chaos arises a sense of harmony. The work is painted with acrylic paint on XXL canvas. Paint is applied in expressive, multi-layered bursts with dynamism on the canvas. The dynamism, expression, and freedom of the artist’s expressive practice are clearly visible. PLEASE NOTE: For buyers in NL who want to pick up the painting themselves, it is possible, by arrangement and for a fee, to have the canvas stretched onto the stretcher frame. Original, very unique abstract expressionist work by Dutch professional/contemporary artist (since the early 1980s) Jovan Srijemac (1962). This work fits well in a modern interior or office space. Condition: excellent, varnished, with certificate of authenticity. The chaos of ideas that have arisen in my mind, the inner robbed energy, wants to come out like a volcano and become an explosion and a symphony of colors on the canvas, framed with matter, figures, faces, or an abstract composition. From the unconscious, often chaotic and explosive application of paint on the canvas, initially arise unplanned figures, objects, portraits, or an abstract composition. Much like the unplanned conception of a child: birth, growing up, to personality formation and life. Often unplanned conceived, we are born, we grow up, and we are all framed in the body, our frame, but each is unique in its own way. ''
