Antique cheese-serving spatula in English sterling silver, made in Birmingham during the reign of George III, early in the nineteenth century. It features an elegant ivory handle tinted green and a construction characteristic of this type of specialized table utensil. The piece retains its original Birmingham hallmarks, including the maker's mark IT, attributed to Joseph Taylor.
