Lot of 4 vintage Scotch whiskies from my grandfather's private collection. John Begg Blue Cap – Old Scotch Whisky John Begg Limited, Glasgow, Scotland. 75 cl – 43% vol. Vintage bottling for the Italian market, imported by Ditta Aldo Zini, Genoa. Italian tax strip still present. King George IV Supreme – Old Scotch Whisky Vintage Scotch whisky bottling, estimated from the 1960s/1970s. Original tax strip present. The rear label shows age-related wear and some losses, clearly visible in the photographs. Dewar's White Label – Finest Scotch Whisky John Dewar & Sons Ltd., Perth, Scotland. Vintage bottling for the Italian market, with the original Italian tax strip still present. Please refer to the photographs for the fill level and overall condition. Teacher's Highland Cream – Scotch Whisky Wm. Teacher & Sons Ltd., Glasgow, Scotland. 1 litre (35 oz) bottle. Duty Free bottling, originally sold through Hills Duty Free Shops. Teacher's neck seal is still present and the fill level is very good considering the age of the bottle. These bottles were part of my grandfather's private collection and have remained in our family for many years. I have now decided to sell part of his collection. As can be expected with bottles of this age, the labels, capsules and tax strips show some signs of ageing and wear. I have tried to photograph the bottles as clearly as possible, including the fill levels, seals, labels and any imperfections. Please consider the photographs an integral part of the description and carefully assess the condition before bidding. The bottling dates are approximate and have been estimated from the characteristics of the bottles, labels and tax strips. I do not have the original purchase receipts, so I prefer not to claim an exact bottling year.
