The BENDER stool brings together the centuries-old craft of steam bending with a contemporary approach to design. Solid ash from local forests is carefully heated and shaped by hand into its distinctive flowing form, while precise joinery gives the piece lasting strength. Its soft curves create a sense of movement and give BENDER a light, almost effortless presence. More than a functional piece of furniture, it brings warmth, character and a subtle sense of playfulness into the room – an object designed to be lived with and enjoyed every day. The ash wood is carefully finished with a durable water-based lacquer, creating a smooth, refined surface while preserving the character of the solid wood beneath.
