Toutes les enchères / Arts Graphiques / Jimi Hendrix - Grande poster musicale - 1990s
Reserve price: 35 euros FREE SHIPPING (for the main European countries) Large vintage music poster dedicated to Jimi Hendrix, depicted during a live performance as he sings and plays the guitar. The photograph is reproduced through a characteristic monochrome halftone print in blue and light blue tones, completed by the name JIMI HENDRIX at the bottom. The graphic treatment gives the poster a particularly recognizable aesthetic, typical of large music posters intended for decor and wall display. In the lower right corner there is the original editorial reference: “SP 107 JIMI HENDRIX” The poster is approximately attributable to commercial production in the 1990s, based on the graphic, typographic, and material characteristics. The exact publisher and year of publication have not been identified with certainty. On the back there is still, along the upper edge, a rigid suspension bar, applied across the full width and compatible with using the poster as a large wall decoration. Features Subject: Jimi Hendrix Editorial reference: SP 107 Attributed period: circa the 1990s Type: vintage editorial music poster Technique: halftone letterpress printing Colors: monochrome in blue/azure tones Dimensions: 98 × 68.5 cm Rigid suspension bar present on the back Publisher: not identified Production country: not identified Conditions The poster presents itself in vintage, fair condition, with signs of use and prior exposure consistent with its age. There are signs of wear and small creases along the edges and corners, some small tears and marginal abrasions, and a more evident tear along the right edge, documented in the detail photographs. On the back, signs of handling and prior mounting are visible, including a small residue of old adhesive tape at the bottom. The rigid suspension bar is still present along the upper edge. The defects mainly affect the peripheral areas: the large central image of Jimi Hendrix is complete, clearly legible, and retains a strong visual impact. The photographs constitute an integral part of the description and accurately document the condition. The poster will be shipped carefully protected, taking into account the presence of the rigid suspension bar.
