Jean Laurent XX - Vue de la Fontaine René à Aix en Provence

Jean Laurent – Provençal square at the René fountain located at the top of cours Mirabeau – Original mixed technique signed Beautiful original work by Jean Laurent, depicting a charming square in the south of France, animated by a monumental fountain surmounted by a statue. In the foreground, the fountain occupies the center of the composition, while the old façades, shops and large green trees outline an urban setting full of character. A few discreet silhouettes animate this peaceful scene. The artist sensitively renders the luminous atmosphere of a Provençal town, thanks to a warm palette of ochres, deep greens and pastel tones.
