Jardinière - Turned - Wood

Wooden planter from the second half of the 20th century, built with solid, balanced construction that combines functionality and decorative character. Its design features an architectural structure made up of numerous turned balusters arranged vertically, creating an elegant play of rhythms and volumes reminiscent of galleries and railings inspired by classical style. The piece stands out for the warmth of the wood and its honey-toned finish, which enhances the natural grain and brings luminosity to the whole. The turned elements, executed with precision, give the composition a dynamic visual energy through its straight lines and harmonious proportions. The raised base on small supports and the top finial framed by square-section posts reinforce its robust and orderly appearance. Originally conceived as an indoor planter, it is ideal for housing decorative pots, botanical arrangements, or floral displays, though it can also serve as an auxiliary piece in spaces with a classic, rustic, or colonial style. Its open structure allows vegetation to visually integrate with the design of the support, creating a balanced and elegant ensemble. In good condition, with light signs of use consistent with its age and function, preserving its structural stability and attractive finish. A versatile, timeless decorative piece that combines the tradition of turned woodworking with the practicality of mid-to-late 20th-century domestic furniture. Tracked shipping and careful packing.
