Jan van Huysum (1682–1749) after Vase of Flowers Oil on canvas signed on the reverse Panteleeva N.M. : 56x50cm Original gallery frame: 80x61cm. Very beautiful floral composition by Panteleeva, realized after Jan van Huysum (1682–1749). The work closely reproduces a composition by the Dutch master kept at the State Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, with a great proximity in the arrangement of the bouquet, the flowers, the butterflies and the richly decorated vase. A high-quality copy, very close to the original, appealing for the finesse of its execution, the richness of the colors, and the elegance of the composition.
