Iso-Press Berlin - Tobacco jar - Bakelite - 2 pots with screw lids
Twice a fine and decorative German Art Deco tobacco pot or humidor, dating from the early 1930s. Made by Iso-Press from Berlin, of Taumalit, a specially shaped Bakelite. The rich, translucent dark-brown marbled finish beautifully imitates tortoiseshell and exotic wood grain. The removable screw cap closes securely and was designed to preserve the moisture and aroma of the tobacco. Condition: in excellent vintage condition Dimensions: approximately 10 x 15 x 15 cm Material: Bakelite Marked: 1 of the 2 pots is marked with IsoPress Taumlit Shipping: registered with track&trace via PostNL
