Delivery Shipped on stretchers, carefully packaged [and insured]. About the artist Isa Sator, born in 1963 in Épinay-sur-Seine, is a French painter and colorist, based in Paris and Saint-Ouen. After a career in law, she devoted herself entirely to painting. Her work rests on color as a vital force and on automatic painting, born from her dreams and laid down upon waking. Critic Jean-Paul Gavard-Perret places her language at the crossroads of Nolde, Cocteau, Masson, and Basquiat. Her work has also been commented on by Jean-Louis Poitevin (AICA).
