Horizons No. 33 - Aldo Cherres

Horizons No. 33 by Aldo Cherres Painting 32.0 x 34.0 :: ""Horizons No. 33"" is a captivating abstract painting from my ongoing ""Horizons"" series. In this body of work I invite the viewer to escape into fantastical imagined scenes challenging the boundaries of reality through art. ""Horizons"" is a long-standing exploration that continuously evolves with each new piece. The painting is created with oil on canvas. I prepare each canvas with care hand-stretching unprimed material to guarantee a smooth archival surface. Multiple layers of gesso are applied and lightly sanded creating an ideal ground for the colorful and painterly application of oil paint. This contemporary artwork features an intimate composition blending figurative elements with abstract forms. The surreal landscape is rendered in a vibrant palette of blue green pink and orange evoking a sense of wonder and inviting contemplation. The suggestion of a road hints at a journey both physical and metaphorical. :: Type: Painting Medium: Oil Style: Abstract Subject: Abstract Width: 32.0 Height: 34.0 Depth: 0.8 Weight: 5 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
