HONG KONG (SAR). Chartered Bank. 100 Dollars, 1.1.1979. P-79a. KNB54b. Printing Error. PMG Very Fine 25. A highly unusual error note where the lower bar stating 'THE CHARTERED BANK' is missing on the reverse. There is also a small area of missing ink on the base of the Bank building. The note was in circulation until our current vendor noticed it and put it away for over 40 years! The first time the cataloguer has seen this type of error, and it is surely an item of great interest to the experienced collector of error notes. PMG Comments "Minor Rust."

Estimation:€669.57
