Ultra rare and striking vintage cult wristwatch from the well-known designer Alexander Hi-Tek London. This retro-futuristic jewel is designed in a bold cyberpunk- and steampunk aesthetics that perfectly align with the industrial fashion scene of the late nineties and early 2000s. The watch stands out with a unique black dial decorated with minimalist white stick figures in surreal, techno poses. This theme is artistically carried through to the exterior of the case, where four matching figures in metal relief are applied. An absolute eye-catcher is the exceptionally thick, cylindrical mineral glass that protrudes above the case like a three-dimensional porthole and is finished with a distinctive matte light-green rim. The robust housing has a very wearable unisex diameter of 37 millimeters excluding the crown. The case blends organically into a wide, fixed stainless steel bracelet adorned with prominent rivets and screw details. At the bottom the band closes with a sturdy folding clasp, into which both the iconic trademark and the official design registration number REG. NO. 2010910 are deeply stamped in the metal. The back of the case is made of pure stainless steel to prevent skin irritation, while the rest of the housing is finished with a high-quality nickel-free plating. This lid bears the official British patent number U.K. REG. NO. 2027072. Under the hood lies a highly reliable Japanese quartz movement. The watch is in gorgeous, virtually scratch-free optical condition and is fully functional, making this piece a unique and valuable collector’s item for lovers of avant-garde timepieces. The watch runs perfectly, but it does need a new battery to start running again.
