Heuga Miradior Arnhem - Rack - Wood - Authentic...

Authentic Dutch industrial heritage — HEUGA / MIRADIOR, Arnhem Remarkably and rarely preserved historical lamp presentation box from the former light bulb factory “HEUGA” in Arnhem, sales department “MIRADIOR”. This is much more than an old wooden box. It is an original professional presentation and sorting case from the Dutch lighting industry, intended for the clear presentation and storage of different types of lamps. The historical function is still exceptionally recognizable from the original wooden compartment arrangement, the various size and wattage labels, and the authentic factory markings. On the front is the original metal factory plate with: “Gloeilampenfabriek ‘HEUGA’ Afd. Verkoop ‘MIRADIOR’ Arnhem” The original “SERIE 12 Volt” emblem is also present. Exceptionally complete and authentic What makes this specimen special is its exceptionally complete condition. The original parts and construction have been preserved, including: * original wooden compartment division * original glass cover * original metal labels * original factory plate * original “SERIE 12 Volt” emblem * original hinges * original latch and hook * original hanging/support construction * original chain * original factory and inventory markings The visible aging, patina, discolorations, and signs of use have not been hidden. It is precisely these traces that form part of the historical value: the object remains authentic and visibly tells the story of its original industrial use. A tangible piece of Dutch lamp history Gloeilampenfabriek HEUGA from Arnhem is historically documented. The National Archives mentions, among other things, a technical study from 1956 specifically conducted for the Gloeilampenfabriek “Heuga”, Arnhem. Heuga later became part of the Dutch Splendor group. Thus, this small object represents a vanished chapter in Dutch industrial history: the period when specialized Dutch lamp factories had their own brands, sales departments, and distribution networks. Collectible with international context Original historic lamp and electricity displays are collected internationally within niches such as industrial memorabilia, vintage advertising, electrical history, and automobilia. Comparable original presentation cases and displays from historic lamp brands are still offered and sold through specialized auctions and collector markets, with some pieces fetching hundreds of dollars. It is precisely the combination of manufacturer, brand identity, original function, Dutch origin, original parts, and complete execution that makes this HEUGA/MIRADIOR specimen particularly interesting for collectors of industrial heritage, historic lighting, and Dutch business history. Museum-quality industrial heritage In my view, this is best regarded as a museum-quality piece of Dutch industrial heritage: small in size, but rich in historical information. A rarely preserved object in which craftsmanship, industrial design, commercial history, and Dutch lighting history come together. An authentic collectible for the enthusiast who is not only looking for a beautiful vintage object, but actually wants to hold a tangible piece of Dutch industrial history in their hands.
