Herr (Michael) Dispatches, first edition, association copy, signed, 1977.

Herr (Michael) Dispatches, first edition, signed presentation inscription by the author to Rolling Stone journalist Grover Lewis and his wife Rae on the title page: "London - 16 May '85. For Grover and Rae Lewis and for all the gang down at the Cafe Cafard. Best - Michael Herr.", original cloth-backed boards, light bumping to spine ends, Book Club Edition dust-jacket, rubbing to tips and corners, sunned to spine, otherwise a very good example, housed in a cloth slipcase with chemise, 8vo, New York, Alfred A. Grover Lewis (1934-1995) and Herr were regarded as some of the forerunners of New Journalism in the 1960s and 70s.
