Magnificent Hermès silk scarf in patinated washed silk, titled "Under the Patronage of Mars", designed by artist Pierre Marie in 2013. Single, unique edition, therefore rare and sought after. Hand-rolled. Made in France. Hermès Paris logo, Hermès C copyright, signature of the artist Pierre Marie. Includes a care label. This carré draws inspiration from an exhibition about the armor of European princes in the second half of the 16th century, an exhibition held in 2011 at the Hôtel des Invalides. According to Arfon's Dictionary of Art Edition Squares, it is considered fairly rare and sought after (see last photo). Very good overall condition despite the slight patina of the washed silk. Will be carefully packaged and shipped with a tracking number.
