A Vintage Hermés Silk Scarf « Le Noble Et Très Ancien Jeu De Golf » by Hugo Grygkar dating from the unique 1953 edition. Carré in printed flowing silk twill with hand-rolled edges in shades of grey, cream, red… The pattern depicts rural scenes from the earliest golf and country club games in the 18th century. This very rare and sought-after item for collectors. Rating indicates Very Rare and Very Wanted in the book Carré d’art Hermès by Geneviève Fontan, Arfon 2017, on page 165. Dimensions: 89 cm x 85 cm Several defects: microscopic holes and damaged edges (age-related).
