Hereke - Carpet - 285 cm - 202 cm - Hereke Oriental rug

A dark brown ground and a lush floral and vine pattern give this hand-knotted Hereke Oriental rug its expressive design. Symmetrically arranged floral branches, small rosettes and sweeping leaves cover the interior field. Cream-colored and pinkish details as well as muted blue and green tones bring the individual motifs on the dark background to the fore. The broad rust-red border provides a warm frame. Light flowers and vines echo the motifs of the interior field, while slim beige- and cream-colored pattern bands separate the sections from one another. The continuous floral pattern distributes the decorative accents over the entire rug surface. With its dimensions of 285 × 202 cm this rectangular Oriental rug is particularly suited to bring together a seating group in the living room. Against a cream-colored sofa, it creates a beautiful contrast; furniture in dark wood echoes the deep ground tone. Textiles in beige, rust red or muted green connect the furnishings with the colors of the rug.
