Hereke - Carpet - 230 cm - 176 cm - Hereke Oriental rug

A very deep dark blue ground and a continuous floral and vine pattern characterize this hand-knotted Hereke Oriental rug. Symmetrically arranged flower stems, flowing leaves, and small floral ornaments spread across the interior field. Cream, pink, and bluish-gray details stand out clearly from the dark background and make the delicate drawing visible. The broad red border provides a warm color accent. Flowers and flowing vines echo the design of the interior field. Narrow light patterned bands frame the border and connect the dark blue area with the decorative frame. With its dimensions of 230 × 176 cm, this rectangular Oriental rug is particularly suitable for a seating group in the living room or a cozy reading area. In front of a light-colored sofa, its dark blue ground comes into its own. Warm wooden furniture complements the red and cream ornaments; individual accessories in blue or red pick up the rug colors and create a harmonious living image.
