Herda - Table lamp - Luce Office Lamp - Brass, Composite, Steel

Elegant vintage desk lamp from the Dutch lighting brand Herda, executed in gold-colored brass with a stylish black composite element in the base. A particularly decorative and functional design with a luxurious appearance, refined details and a characteristic adjustable construction. This fine desk lamp combines the warm shine of brass with the deep black of the high-gloss finished composite. The combination of materials gives the lamp a chic, timeless look that fits perfectly within a classic, modern, Hollywood Regency or Mid-Century inspired interior. Design and form The lamp stands out with its slim, architectural form and the carefully crafted details. The construction consists of two long, parallel brass-colored arms, connected to the sturdy, square base via a hinge mechanism. Thanks to the adjustable construction, the position of the lamp can be adjusted, making it not only a decorative object but also particularly suitable as functional reading, desk or accent lighting. The elegant lampshade has a distinctive, gently curved shape with a sloping front. The ventilation slots at the top give the shade a characteristic technical and industrial accent. The lamp head is equipped with an adjustable hinge, through which the beam of light can be directed. Brass and black composite A particularly attractive feature of this lamp is the combination of the different materials. The square base has a gold-colored brass finish with a stepped, rising edge. On it lies a raised, rectangular element of black, high-gloss finished composite. This dark element forms a beautiful contrast with the warm brass and gives the lamp extra depth and an exclusive appearance. The slender brass-colored arms, the metal hinges and the decorative lampshade form a harmonious whole. The polished and glossy surfaces create beautiful light reflections, while the black composite finish adds a stylish and powerful visual accent. Functional details The lamp offers several practical features: * Adjustable dual-arm construction * Tilt-able lampshade for targeted lighting * Elegant metal shade with ventilation slots * Sturdy, square base with black composite * Integrated switch on the front of the base * Electrical connection with cord The combination of functionality and decorative form makes this Herda lamp particularly suitable for use on a desk, writing desk, sideboard or coffee table. Style and appearance The design aligns with the elegant lighting from the second half of the twentieth century, where high-quality material contrasts, geometric shapes and adjustable constructions played an important role. The warm brass color combined with the black composite gives the lamp an appearance reminiscent of luxury office interiors, classic executive rooms and stylish hotel interiors. Even in a contemporary interior, this design works well, for example as a striking vintage accent in a modern workroom.
