Henry Godfrey, London - English early 18th century ebonised verge bracket clock with pull repeat, the signed 6" arched brass dial finely engraved with a matted centre and pierced cherub spandrels, with a subsidiary date dial to the arch over a false pendulum bob, silvered Roman numeral chapter ring with pierced steel hands, five pillar single fusee movement with a signed and engraved back plate with locking pendulum, verge escapement and pull repeat with hammers striking on three bells, within a stepped ebonised bell top case with glazed brass grille side panels, upon bun feet and surmounted with a carry-handle, 18" high including the handle (the movement requires attention)
