Heinrich von Zügel (1850–1941), zugeschrieben - Bäuerin mit Rechen im Obsthain

Atmospheric plein-air study in the tradition of the Munich School and German late Impressionism. The work captivates with its lively handling of light and the thick, loose brushwork in the area of the sun-drenched foliage and the path. In theme and atmosphere, the rural genre scene is very close to Heinrich von Zügel’s plein-air studies as well as to the Dachau and Worpswede artist colonies.
