About the artist: Harleen is a self-taught artist, driven by drawing since her earliest childhood. Fate set her on the path of her passion when she crossed paths with major figures of her generation. First as an assistant, she painted in the shadow of these renowned artists and took part in the creation of numerous exhibitions across Europe. Gradually, encouraged by those she admired, she dared to take the plunge: to give birth to her own artistic universe. In 2020, Harleen signed her first works in her own name, rich from all the experiences accumulated in the shadows. Her art? A vibrant mix of urban and pop influences. She draws inspiration from 90s graffiti, the streets that tell stories, and the icons who have shaped visual culture. Between pop art and street art, her creations explode with color, textures and emotions. She paints instinctively, almost viscerally, letting her characters emerge according to the thread of her daily inspiration. About the work: Each painting is made on a 300 g cotton canvas. Harleen works in successive layers: acrylic, oil, grease pastels, spray paint, all of which textures give life to raw emotion.
