Hamelink - Orange Crocodile

This original work by Bart Hamelink, titled Orange Crocodile, shows a large crocodile in a powerful, minimalist form. The animal has been reduced to its most recognizable features: the long snout, sharp teeth, spikes and sturdy legs. The intense orange color forms a strong contrast with the calm, light background. By removing all superfluous details, the image becomes simple and playful, yet at the same time it radiates strength and character. The geometric shapes and deliberately simple execution fit Hamelink's recognizable visual language: direct, minimalist and expressive.
